Money...

interesting what the Lord has been reminding me about lately regarding this subject. For most of us, we never seem to have enough - and it seems as though if we had more life would be easier, things would be less stressful,etc... and in some cases/ways that's true; However, I find it interesting that those who do have it, if they didn't used to, still aren't content. The Lord has shown me this in several different ways of late. Things are never more important than people, yet we often treat them thus....

Harvest time...

The wheat is ready and the fields are dry enough! Love to see combines working, lots of trucks on the road and farmers at it from sunup to sundown. Everything else gets put on hold when the harvest is ready (hmmm is there a spiritual lesson in that for us?), the fields are golden and pregnant or shorn looking like my boys after a fresh haircut!

Literally! Jessica got hit trying to ground a ball last night and now has "thread marks" on her chin!

Distractions...

Ok so at camp it was great (I realize I wasn't fixing meals etc), got up earlier - mighta had something to do with the light -- etc. This whole week it's been really hard to get everyone up and about before 9, read my Bible,etc,etc,etc....

my soul longs for it but it's so easy to be distracted and busy
