Hydrogen Peroxide Gets Out Magic Marker Stains Too!

Hydrogen Peroxide Antiseptic Solution 16 Oz

Hi HouseHold Tippers!

I am happy to report that my favorite cleaning solution, Hydrogen Peroxide-

GETS OUT MAGIC MARKER STAINS TOO!

How do I know this?  I have a kindergartner.

My son accidentally marked up my cotton/denim olive green jeans with NAVY BLUE magic marker... (Super Tips by Crayola, to be exact).  And,
I made 'my solution'
of
Hydrogen Peroxide plus a little dishwashing liquid,
soaked the stained areas last evening,

and the stains are GONE.

I told you Hydrogen Peroxide ROCKS!

I have yet to find anything,
Hydrogen Peroxide will not get out!

If you have- comment or email me :)

The Best Way To Get Red Wine Stains Out Of Clothes

HYDROGEN PEROXIDE ANTISEPTIC SOLUTION 16 OZ

I shared this a long time ago on my Mom Blog, BananaBlueberry and I would be remiss if I did not share it here, to fellow HouseHold Tippers!

Here is the recipe to Get Red Wine Stains Out Of Clothes.  Period.
IT STARTS with one of my favorite cleaning tools ever: Hydrogen Peroxide!
Get out Your Cleaning Bowl,

and mix a little
dishwashing liquid,

WITH
a lot more Hydrogen Peroxide Solution.
Put the stained article of clothing to soak in the bowl…   You’re Done.
You can get Hydrogen Peroxide, the first aid antiseptic, at any grocery store or drugstore.
This TOTALLY works, every time.  It even works on an ‘old’ stain.  It gets just about any kind of stain out.

Yep.  It's not magic.  It just works!

Have a 'Cleaning Bowl'

Trudeau Melamine Mixing Bowls, Set of 3This Tip is pretty straight-forward,
but it's amazing how 'little tips', like this one,
make life so much easier.
And that's really what we're about here at HouseHold Tips, after all!

Have a bowl, or a stack of different size bowls that are for NOTHING,
but cleaning.
No food is ever in these bowls.
Write 'CLEANING' on them (that's what I did).

Keep them under your sink, or somewhere else very accessible.

Whenever you get some kind of stain- Get Out The Bowl,

Mix Hydrogen Peroxide and dishwashing liquid,
And soak the article of clothing,
in the bowl.

POOF!

It comes out, even BLOOD.

and how fantastic it is as a stain remover!

So, Tip of The Day:

Have a designated 'Cleaning Bowl'; if you have it right there- you'll use it!

Easy!

Get Stains Out With Hydrogen Peroxide! Even Blood Stains!

HYDROGEN PEROXIDE ANTISEPTIC SOLUTION 16 OZ
HYDROGEN PEROXIDE is fabulous when it comes to helping around the house!

It has many uses.  It is a weak acid.  It has strong oxidizing properties, and is a powerful bleaching agent.  It is used as a disinfectant, antiseptic and oxidizer.

You can find it at any grocery store or drug store... and it's INEXPENSIVE-
YEY- another plus!

I'm so psyched about the uses of Hydrogen Peroxide that I'm making it a label for this blog, and I'm starting out by telling you about Hydrogen Peroxide and blood stains...

Hydrogen Peroxide absolutely gets out blood. period.

If it's a fresh stain on clothing, when you apply the peroxide, the blood stain will 'fizz'- literally.

If it doesn't come out right away, just soak it a little...

And you're done!

Happy Households :)
